Virtual agent message showing wrong counter

Whenever I reload the page on the employee service portal , the Virtual Agent button's message counter accumulates as if there are new messages, but there aren't

I have changed one system property  "com.glide.cs.advanced-chat-popover" to true for not open the chat bot aytomatically and add the "configObj.load_active_only = true;" in service portal chat configurations

Look like a bug, 2 things

 - Try cache.do

- Repair the VA plugin

if still issue, log a now support case.

Hello @siva44 

 

These two properties -   load_active_only - will only show current chat ongoing and hide the previous conversation history and chat popover - you should have disabled - not set to true. 

 

Chat popup is not hidden. It was some issue which was fixed by SN with this solution. 

 

Do this and if this doesn't works, clear cache , repair plugin. Nothing works - log a case with servicenow.
