Hi Everyone,
I would like to publish an app to the store,
According to the official documentation I need to be a TPP partner for this, which implies a cost of 5000 per annum minimum.
Question: - Are there any more costs associated with this?
Also, the application development process is quite long, is there a way for me to start developing the app prior to being part of the TPP?
I know that in order for the app to be published, the only way is to be part of the program since it needs to be certified, and also most of the documentation regarding this is only accessible through the TPP Program.
Would anyone would be able to help me out with this, I would like to develop as much as possible before adding any costs.
Thank you in advance.

Hi Francisco,
Bala has given a pretty accurate summary.
$5K aside, there is no additional cost to develop, test ,certify and publish your application. (unless you include your developer resource costs).
you can begin developing on a personal Developer instance, just be sure to provide details of this instance when you submit for TPP. do not use a partner instance!!
The TPP approval process is pretty quick however and if you can hold on development it would be recommended just to avoid an potential issues.
Happy to discuss further if you need.

Hi,
There are no additional costs charged for certifying application. For a TPP you will be receiving credits(per app) and based on credit count your apps are certified without any additional cost involved.(In General)
Additionally you will receive two ven instance where actual development and testing of application is mandatory.
Coming to your second part of question on whether app can be developed prior to tpp account answer is yes but best suggestion can is that utilize ven(Provided with tpp account) due scope namespace.
I have been part of multiple applications processes. I can suggest that there are multiple ways that can be employed for faster deployment.(Likewise clear on demo and intial checkpoints of servicenow)

Bala Krishna
