We have just learned the same thing the hard way, and I'm shocked that there is so little information provided by ServiceNow on the limitations of the new features of cloning. Just FYI, for everyone who is planning the cloning (we are on Orlando, but I think these issues still exist in Paris):

1. Don't use the clone profiles (even the system one):

2. Don't use the flag to "Preserve users and related tables" - it is not working (got a notification about it from ServiceNow 10 minutes before the clone start :), you need to set it up manually, if neeeded:
