In trying to revamp a somewhat neglected instance of SNOW that is being used, one of the changes that is being made is to upgrade the ServiceCatalog with some new categories and items. In going through the updates there were many changes made to this catalog but the one place that I've run into a problem is with the homepage which opens for employees.
The ITIL fulfillers all load just fine, and see their dashboards, but the standard self service employees are not seeing the catalog when they first open the site. Instead they are brought to the ESS homepage, which when I went to investigate what can be done with that page there was a banner saying that homepages are being replaced with dashboards. And so here is my question;
How do I change the home.do function from navigating to the homepage, and get it to instead open the Service Catalog for our ESS employees? In making this change, I would still want the ITIL employees to see their dashboards as the homepage for their accounts.
