Data warehousing: How do users keep track of deleted task_rel_task and cmdb_rel_ci records

I am curious as to how users are who perform data retention on parent relationship records such as incidents are integrating with their data warehouses to share what data relationship records have been deleted with the parent. Given that there is no indicator as to what records are deleted, is the only solution to have the data warehouse do a full data pull of these tables each day?

If there is a reason for you to know this, there are only 2 options: a daily pull of everything that is updated, or just also update deletions.
