ServiceNow today is both deep and wide in functionality. With multiple products ranging from ITSM to public sector solutions, the adoption and implementation process needs to be very carefully planned.

Here are a few key recommendations:

  • Understand your requirements – Identify what you need, product-wise.

  • Set up dedicated teams – Assign specific teams for each product area.

  • Don’t attempt a big bang rollout – Go phase by phase.

  • Start with data foundations – Get your core data models right from the beginning.

  • Plan workshops – Bring stakeholders together to align on goals and priorities.

  • Engage BAs and business SMEs – Ensure business and IT are aligned before kickoff.
