How to add alias names for the values in the report or in database views?

How can I add alias names for column values? I can add alias names to the column, but I am unable to add them to the column values. Can someone guide me on the correct way?

The way I interpret what you say, that is exactly how the choice fields function. Set the "Choice" attribute for your field to one of the choice options and defined the choices, where the value will be the value in the field and label will be what you call alias.
