How to track service availability in ServiceNow instance?

Hi Team,

 

I would like to understand how can we track Service availability of a ServiceNow instance ensuring below things:

 

1. The instance is up an running

2. Fetching reports when the instance was down (pull reports of the instance performance)

 

This is needed to monitor instance performance. Please suggest the possible approaches.

ServiceNow Health Dashboard in HI Support


ServiceNow cannot reliably detect its own downtime, so availability
must be monitored externally.

Options from 3rd-party monitoring tools
