We want to pull entitlements from SAP ECC and S4HANA into ServiceNow SAM Pro. And we want to use free spokes.
- To establish integration between ServiceNow and SAP, is this the video I need to follow?
What confuses me is that it means Source-to-Pay. Is Source-to-Pay a different module ? Is it something we need to have installed in our systems before I follow the video in the doc?
Does that mean we have to install Source-to-Pay Operations just to be able to integrate with SAP S4HANA and ECC?

2) At 0:35 of the above video, you can see that they probably have purchased sn_sap_s4_hana_rfc and sn_sap_ecc_rfc_spo. These 2 are paid-for spokes. Are there any free ones?

Source-to-Pay is a different module. We can't tell you if you need it or not. For just SAM Pro you don't need it, but it all depends on your business.
If you don't need/want Source-to-Pay, you need to find a different source for your information, as this video is for that module.
Related to your second question: check the store for free spokes. If not there, they aren't around and you will need to build the integration yourself.

@Mark Manders- Thanks, thats what I thought. By the way, I see ServiceNow has provided a free spoke for SAP SuccessFactors specifically for SAM Pro but nothing for ECC/ S4HANA. Do you know what might be the reason for this? Is S4HANA too complex to work on? There is a paid spoke for ECC and S4HANA by a private corp but nothing by ServiceNow

I don't work for ServiceNow so I can't answer to why they haven't created it. Maybe because it already exists as 3rd party spoke and they get their revenue from there.
Do know that the SF spoke may be free to install, but still uses transactions, so using it costs money. There isn't much that is really 'free'.

@Mark Manders - Thanks again. Would you please elaborate more on what do you mean by transactions?
