What does base_start=true do?

I cant find any documentation on it. Does anyone know its purpose?

After talking to HI below is their response.

Resolution:
We did some research regarding this and after engaging our developers for confirmation, they explained that this attribute is listed for historical reasons but it is not currently used by the platform.

Marking this correct.

Not sure about the comment from the developers that "it is not currently used by the platform".

In London release it used in the Reference qualifier for Table when on a Technical Service:

I am trying to build a a Technical Service on a CI Type (Router Interface) that does not appear in the drop down of Tables on a Technical Service. I guess the base_start=true attribute is doing something to restrict the list?
