Did you check the release notes? If it's not in there and you are certain it is caused by the upgrade, the only place to find the exact answer to 'why did this happen' is with ServiceNow, so if the release notes don't provide an answer, log a Case with NowSupport.

No I didn't check release notes, may I know where can I find that? 

You do upgrades without even knowing where the release notes are?

How do you prepare? Release notes are part of the docs.
