I have this case of switches (from only one location) giving SNMP timeout error in prod but the same switches are discoverable in Test instance from the same windows server on which both Prod and Test midservers are installed. Credentials are testing successfully in prod in all midservers. other devices such as servers are getting discovered for the same location from same midserver. I did increase SNMP timeout and session values in prod midserver but that isnt solving the issue. what could be the problem?

That was not the problem. problem was actually the credential record itself in ServiceNow. I had to delete the record and re create the credential record to solve my problem

Hi Abdul,
Try updating the specific credential record (EX: SNMP V1 credential) to be applied to "All MID servers".
