Hello all,
Good morning!!
This week we have upgraded our instance to Australia version, and post that users are complaining that they are restricted to view the content of the report and the following error is showing up,
Access to this content denied based on report_view field ACLs.
Even the report creator also having this issue.
So, when I enquired on this, I came to know that there is a security enforcement given by service-now and we need to create report_view ACLs on all tables where the reports are created.
And I see that, there RVACL diagnostic script to run and check which ACL is restricting reports.
So, can someone help me how to work on this and sort out this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Lucky

Hey, you have to create the report_view ACL on the tables from where reports are getting generated.

yes this is introducted in Australia release.
Did your team not test this in lower instance if that lower instance was upgraded to Australia?
If this property 'glide.report.report_view.read_acl' is having value as enforce then you will have to create report_view ACLs on those tables which are used in reporting
Enforce read ACLs on report views

Hello Ankur,
Good Morning!!
Thanks for your response.
Yes, the property has value 'enforce'.
My Customer is saying she is getting many escalations on this.
So, is there a way we can change the property to something else, so that the issue will be sorted
or if Not this, and if we are going to create ACLs then for Incident table, how can we?
Small example plz

Lucky

was this not tested in DEV/UAT by upgrading them to Australia?
