I’m reaching out to ask whether it’s possible to log into the general ServiceNow.com portal (https://www.servicenow.com) using a different Single Sign-On (SSO) provider-specifically, our organization’s corporate credentials.
This would be especially helpful for seamless access to resources like ServiceNow University and other public-facing solutions.
Can anyone confirm if SSO is supported for this portal? If so, what are the setup steps or prerequisites?
Appreciate any guidance or direction you can provide.

Hi @endabrennan
Based on my experience, I believe this site also uses SSO. You can try accessing it in incognito mode with a different SSO account to test.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Thanks for the response. Just to clarify, I’m not referring to SSO for a customer-specific instance (like company.service-now.com), but rather for the main ServiceNow.com portal, including access to things like ServiceNow University.
We’re exploring whether it’s possible to configure SSO using our corporate identity provider to authenticate users directly on https://www.servicenow.com. If this isn’t supported, that’s fine—we just want to confirm definitively.
If anyone from ServiceNow or the community has insight into whether this is possible (or officially unsupported), I’d appreciate the clarification.

Hi @endabrennan So, if I understood correctly, you want to access the ServiceNow site using your organization's SSO? If yes, then it's possible—but you need to create an account using the same email ID. After that, it will pick up SSO from there, assuming your browser cache supports it as well.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Thanks for the reply. That’s helpful context, but I want to be sure we’re not confusing browser session behavior with formal SSO support.
To clarify: I’m asking whether ServiceNow.com (not a customer instance) supports federated SSO using an external identity provider (like Azure AD or Okta) configured by our organization.
In other words, can ServiceNow.com be set up to trust our IdP so users can authenticate with corporate credentials, similar to how platforms like:
- LinkedIn Learning
- Coursera for Business
- Zoom
- Dropbox
- Adobe Creative Cloud
…allow enterprise users to log in with their organization’s SSO, even though the site is public-facing?
If this is supported, I’d expect there to be a formal setup process or documentation. If it’s not supported, that’s also helpful to confirm.
