As I programmer, almost in every application I have created some "tag" functionality. I think this (normally) very intuitive way is great to organize records in a very easy way.
So recently I came accross Tags in ServiceNow.
But they fall short in my expectation.
- how can I find in a particular list view all my documents with a particular tag? Please don't tell me I can "filter"... as this is very cumbersome for most users. I need an easier way. IF I can see a tag in the list view, it's easy, I just click it. But the idea of tags is: to find stuff which is not on page 1. So is there an easy way to filter?
If your answer is "my Tagged documents", then my next question is: how can I modify this "page". Eg. the sheets for records, I want to be able to define which fields are displayed
- on Workspace I literally have no idea how tags could be made to work. Clicking them in the list view does open them instead of filtering the view.
One great thing I could imagine is: something like a "tag cloud" on the landing page... but I guess i'd be left alone to implement something like it
