List type field shows sys_id instead of the value

Hi All,

I have created a field called Sap task and type i choose as List for this feild,

but it shows the sys_ID values instead of value. we have kept display as true but still showing on sys_ID.

these sys_ids are the records in the incident_ task table, i need the Task number to be visible instead of sysid

Check on the display value of the table you are referencing. Set that to 'number' and the numbers will show up (that's if the tasks really exist and aren't deleted).
