I am in same situation just learning this CMDB which is totaly new to me and a lot of topics are fuzzy to me if not practical case are aligned with them

Courses directly have practical labs for practical exposure.

Hi. I do not have base knowledge or expereince with CMDB & CSDM and other than start studying for CIS-DF exam about 2 months ago I am half way thru Govern the CMDB moudle from Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals.
It has been very difficult for me to understand the topics fully since they were mostly theoretical and by watching the lab demo on the course it was a bit easier to comprehend since it was based on the real lab.
I completed ServiceNow Platform Implementation lab on March and Configure the CMDB Simulator on April but have not done PDI yet.
The pressure to pass CIS-DF exam first is on and time is a bit restrained. Therefore, I started using Chatgpt and gemini to go thru each topics you mentioned in your blog and realized it has been tricky to read all the contents as the outcome and read everything by topics. Therefore, I started going back to Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals and found these 15 topics from there and focused on reading it and trying to understand it.
