Are "CMDB Workspace" CMDB Groups actually used anywhere?

Hello - CMDB Groups (cmdb_group) can be of one of those three types:

1. Default
2. Health
3. CMDB Workspace

I understand and use the first two types, but when creating a CMDB Workspace group, I can't find any real use of it in the CMDB Workspace. Yes, I can list them in the "Management" part of the Workspace, but that's about it.

Does anyone know whether this is just an informative field or if it's used in some reports, widgets or what not?

@Jacques Clement did you ever find any use case for this?  I am in the same situation now.

HI Jacques. These groups are the default groups that appear in the "CI Overview" portion of the "CMDB Workspace" home page. They are used by the "CI Overview" Indicator to generate the counts that populate the "CI Overview" bar graph. See attached for screenshot.
