Best practice to update Service Maps that were built manually?

Hi All,

We currently have several Service Maps that were created and maintained manually (not fully pattern-based via Service Mapping discovery).

We are now trying to understand the best practice approach to updating and maintaining these maps going forward.

Specifically:

• What is the recommended process to update manually built Service Maps?

• Any governance model or operating model recommendations?

We want to align with CSDM best practices and avoid long-term maintenance challenges.

Appreciate any guidance or real-world experience.
