Start with ServiceNow University
ServiceNow University has a huge amount of structured content, from beginner to advanced levels. Start with Fundamentals courses and then move to role-based paths like Administrator, Developer, or ITSM/CSM.Follow a learning path (don’t jump randomly)
Always complete courses in sequence. Basics like tables, forms, lists, ACLs, and workflows should be clear before moving to advanced topics like Integration, UI Builder, and Script Includes.Practice in a Personal Developer Instance (PDI)
Learning only by videos is not enough. Use a PDI to practice everything you learn—create tables, write scripts, build flows, and test configurations.Learn by building small use cases
Try real-world scenarios such as:Creating a custom application
Building a flow for approvals
Creating reports and dashboards
This helps in understanding how things work end-to-end.
Refer to ServiceNow Docs and Community
Use ServiceNow Product Documentation and Community posts whenever you’re stuck. Many real issues and solutions are already discussed there.Refer YouTube channels for concept clarity
YouTube is very helpful for understanding concepts visually. Some good channels are:ServiceNow Community (official channel):
- ServiceNow Developer
