Clear the Field values after certain period

Hello all,

I have created a custom table (User Assets Monitor).
There are 3 fields,
User Asset status (select box with 2 choices, Purchased and Yet to Purchase).

Asset Type (select-box with some choices)

Asset Purchased Date

Now, I have written a business rule, like when we select the User Asset Status to 'Purchased', then automatically Asset type will be populated with some value, and Asset purchased date will be populated with current date and time.

Now, my requirement is, I want to clear all the above fields post 30 days.

So, how can I do that?

Can we use scheduled event and Script action?

If so, can someone help me how can I work with that?

You have a few options, all of which depend on various conditions

If you want to reset the field values regardless of whether someone completes a further updating during that 30 day window, then creating a scheduled event is a viable option. 

If you need to handle changing the 30 day window depending on subsequent updates, it may be better to have a field to track the date to clear the field values. That field can be continuously updated as part of further changes. A scheduled script can then run daily to identify records in scope for being reset, and modify the record

Actually, the field "User Asset status" is updated with 'Purchased', then the field should not be editable until 30 days from the update.
