In CMDB BAU projects, the activities typically focus on maintaining CMDB data quality, resolving operational issues, and ensuring accurate CI lifecycle management.

Typical troubleshooting involves reviewing system logs, import logs, discovery logs, identification rules, reconciliation rules, and CMDB health reports. Resolutions generally include correcting mappings, updating rules, fixing credentials, re-running discovery, or updating CI data manually.

I would prefer majorly focus on Dashboard

 

CMDB WORKSPACE

DISCOVERY DASHBOARD

CMDB DATA FOUNDATION DASHBOARD 

CSDM DATA FOUNDATIONS DASHBOARD

 

If it is utilised properly with right governance we can make CMDB healthy.
