Creating Data Certifications for non-CMDB tables in Data Manager

Don Hall

Hello,

My organization is trying to use the Data Certification policy in Data Manager for non-CMDB tables but we're seeing a few issues. We're not able to load the list of tables into the Table drop down on the Data Filter tab (see screenshot). We also noticed for the existing non-CMDB table filters we imported, we cannot select a user group field or user field from that table. That seems to be the case in my personal developer instance as well. Please see the two screenshots for additional information.

Are there any system properties or rules we can update to fix this?

Thanks,

Don

Hello Don,

When you go to cert_schedule.new or Data certification -> new from menu, you would see that the table is set as read only due to UI policy. In the past this was allowed but I guess in latest releases they limited this functionality to CMDB only.

Here is more discussion on this topic.
