Wednesday
I created a couple of dictionary entries for a table in our Dev environment and would like to delete them because the naming convention is incorrect, and I want to recreate them with the correct naming convention. I notice the user defined dictionary entries have a red x next to them. Can I simply click that red x next to the entries I want to delete and then select "Update"? I'm assuming the answer is yes, but I would like confirmation since I've not done it before. Thank you.

Hi there @Mike LHCG1 , If you just want to update the names of the dictionaries then I would suggest you to update the name and then save instead of creating a new one here is an official documentation -Modify dictionary.
however, if you want to update the values in that case you will need to delete and make new ones.
and yes by clicking on that red cross in front of entries you can delete them and create new one.
If this answer helps you in any way make sure to Mark this as accepted solution and give a thumbs up this will also benefit others as well.
Regards.

yes that's 1 way
Another way is to go to sys_dictionary and search your fields for your table and delete those.

Just a note you can't change the column name once it's created
So the only way is to delete and create a new one with correct column name
