Could not update basic information. Error detail : The selected table is in Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns scope but the current scope is Global
I have a CMDB Manager who is getting the following error message when updating CI Classes within the CI Class Manager, because they are not a system admin, they cannot change scopes to get around this. I have added the role "delegated_developer", but the scope "Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns" is does not display for them to select. I have tried adding role "pd_admin", "discovery_admin", "itil_admin", etc. The only thing that works is giving them system admin.
Why should I have to give the Configuration Manager system admin to give them the ability to update the class to a Prinicpal Class or add a rule to the Health. Opened a ticket with HI, to no avail.

Please check if the class he is updating was created in the different scope then global, if that is the case then he needs to be in the corresponding scope.
If you want your CMDB manager to work in this scope, then you need to add him there.
