Hello,
When creating an asset, I get the error 'CMDB Identification Error occured during creation of CI' which prevents me from creating an asset or CI. What is unique is the error only applies to one model category. When comparing it to other model categories that work, there isn't a difference in the IRE rules. What else could be causing the error to trigger?
Thank you

Hello @admin1385223023
Even though it may seem that you have created the same IRE Rule and IRE Entries for all. But still go to "cmdb_identifier" table check for if there is any specific identifier entry for that CI Class. Also check the identifier entries of its direct parent class.
Kindly mark my answer as helpful and accept solution if it helped you in anyway. This will help me be recognized for the efforts and also move this questions from unsolved to solved bucket.

Hello @Shivalika,
The 'cmdb_identifier' table was also checked for discrepancies. None were found, to include the parent class. The error is still triggered.

Hello @admin1385223023
Have you checked it isn't because of any duplicate entries ?
Identifier entries may also be on related list items - like any IP Address that you are adding or anything related in there.

Hello @Shivalika,
Yes, I checked for duplicate entries as well as any scripts effecting the fields on the form. No issues excepts the model category with the specific ci class.
Kindest Regards,
Sergio
