How can I create a new Discovery pattern to prevent duplicate CI entries in the cmdb_ci_computer .

Hello,

I am working on preventing duplicate CIs in the CMDB Computer table. I have already installed the Discovery and Service Mapping plugins and am looking to create new Discovery patterns.

Could someone please provide a step-by-step guide on how to proceed with this? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

@YogeshriB  What exactly are you trying to do? Did you already discovered the computers? If yes, are you seeing duplicates inside the discovered computers? 

The usual process is Establish Discovery and discover the computers -> make sure 'Identifier Rules' are correctly configured for Computes in 'CI Class Manager' -> Check if there are any duplicate -> check if the de-duplication tasks are created for it? -> resolve the task and update the 'Identifier Rules' accordingly.
