I have started to move our data policies over to the CMDB Workspace. I can create schedule policies that run once or monthly and they start with no problem. But when I create an on-demand policy and publish it, there is no "Run" button to kick off the policy job.

We found a workaround until the issue is fixed in the CMDB workspace. The data certification policies are in the 'cmdb_policy_scheduled_job' table and OnDemand policies can be executed from there.

I don't know the answer but I'm running into this same problem. I think this is a really bad UI decision that they didn't give you the ability to run the policy within Data Manager/CMDB Workspace. The old Data Certification module was much more simple and user friendly and it seems they went backwards.

Hi Mike, is this a known issue that has been provided by servicenow that you know of at all? We are experiencing the same issue but to apply the work around we want to be able to provide a reason for a work around as opposed to a fix but cannot seem to find anywhere mentioning the issue other than this post (Which has been helpful as we now know a work around for it) 🙂
