I have a requirement wherein we are trying to update CMDB from Github repo.

I have thought of 2 ways

1. Using Integration hub Github spoke

I would like to request for help on how to proceed with this requirement.

Hi @Sourabh Saha

unfortunately it is not really clear what "trying to update CMDB from Github repo." should mean.

Please provide more details and especially screenshots, so we can better understand your situation and help you accordingly.

Kind regards
Maik

Hi Maik, Thank you for looking into it. I would like to create more records in the cmdb application table from records which are in github. I am not sure how the records should be present in github so that we can pull those records into cmdb application table on some trigger condition. Thanks Sourabh

Hi @Sourabh Saha

sorry, it's absolutely unclear why you want to do that. GitHub is a source code versioning repository and not a database for configuration items!

So i think you still not provided all details and therefore I cannot help you.

Kind regards
Maik

Hi Maik, I understand that I am being unclear. I am sorry about that. My purpose of asking this question is will it at all be possible to update cmdb application table from records using github as a source repository. I am not sure if that is possible and hence my question. Actually someone came up with this idea whether it will be possible to update cmdb from githib repository? Thanks Sourabh
