MID Server (on-prem versus Azure)

Hello ServiceNow Community,

 

Is there a list of pro's and con's of implementing MID Server on-prem versus the Azure cloud?

 

Has anyone experienced issues related to the MID Server hosted in the Azure cloud?

Hi, ServiceNow and Azure both are SaaS solutions. I feel, no mid server is required. If Azure works secured domain then mid server needs to install. It should be clarified by azure team.

As far as you are using it for IP-based discovery you can host the mid-server in either of the place. The traffic needs to be allowed. 

If you are doing cloud discovery and have simple cloud infra if you do not need the mid server. If you have the organization 

sturcture on cloud then you need the mid-server installed on the cloud.
