Not Able to get the Option of Static and Dynamic Reconciliation Rule

I am trying to create a dynamic Reconciliation Rule for windows server but while creating this i am not able to find the static and Dynamic option from where i configure this. 
i am currently doing configure the CMDB Micro-Certification Simulator(Yokohama) Certification. while doing the lab task no-14 i am facing this Issue.

Hi @BiswarupA,

 the Static and Dynamic Reconciliation Rule options are only displayed when the required prerequisites are met.

In your screenshot, the wizard opens directly on "Add Discovery Sources & Prioritize", which indicates you are currently creating a Static Reconciliation Rule.

For Dynamic Reconciliation Rules, ServiceNow requires

  • CMDB 360 / Multisource CMDB to be enabled (glide.identification_engine.multisource_enabled=true)
  • Required CMDB 360 capabilities/plugins to be active.

If CMDB 360/Multisource CMDB is not enabled, you can't create a Dynamic Reconciliation Rule and the rule type selection tiles do not appear.


Please verify whether CMDB 360 / Multisource CMDB is enabled in your lab instance. Once enabled, you should see the option to choose between Static Reconciliation Rule and Dynamic Reconciliation Rule during rule creation.
