I’m reaching out to see if anyone has effective strategies for identifying overloaded Configuration Items (CIs) in their CMDB.
For context, overloaded CIs occur when multiple distinct CIs are mistakenly recognized as a single CI. This leads to a situation where only one CI is created when several should have been established.
If you have any tools, techniques, or best practices that have worked for you in identifying these overloaded CIs, I’d love to hear about them!
