When we perform vCenter discovery, I believe all VM information registered in vCenter is added to the CMDB. Is it possible to prevent VMs whose host names contain specific keywords from being registered in the CMDB? If they are not registered in the CMDB, they will not be subject to ITOM license charges, so we would like to implement this feature.
Currently, I think this would involve using a business rule.
Example: Exclude VMs from CMDB registration if their host name contains the string “clone.”
