principal class filtering

Hello All,
I enabled Principal Class on the CI Classes. Noticed that the CI lookup was not returning expected results. After review, identified that an existing reference qualifier on the CI field is
overriding the Principal Class behavior and restricting the available CI option. I performed troubleshooting to determine why enabling principal class filtering was not taking effect with these steps;
verified system property configuration
validated principal class flag on CI Classes
checked dictionary entry for Ci field to ensure no reference qualifier was overiding the principal class logic
reviewed dictionary overrides
checked client scripts and script includes
cleared platform Cache.
The filter is still not taking effect

Hi,

As far as I know you need to change the reference qualifier yourself to utilize the principal class filter.

I would recommend you check out these resources:

https://www.servicenow.com/community/servicenow-ai-platform-forum/apply-principal-class-filter-in-re...

Hope this helps.
