Question on typical pipeline for populating CMDB, involving a data lake

Hi All,

I was wondering what is a typical/preferred approach out there whenever you're bringing in data into CMDB through other sources than Discovery.

Assuming there's source system (e.g. SCCM), a Data Lake and ServiceNow involved. Do you populate ServiceNow and data lake independently/in parallel, or first populate data lake (raw data) and import into CMDB from there, or first get the data into CMDB, clean up then send to data lake?

Thanks for any feedback based on real use cases.

BR,

Tom
