SCCM issue with Resource ID

Hi,

We have integration with SCCM and most of you might know that when SCCM integrates with SNOW,

It will first check with Resource ID which comes from SCCM (Correlation ID on SNOW) in Sys Object Source table

and if it finds it, then it will update the exisiting record if not then it will move to the Identification Rules.

However, we have seen issue on the SCCM that it keep's updating the different Serial numbers to the same Resource ID due to which in SNOW the same records gets updating mutiple times (Flip/Flop).

Is there any way we can avoid this ? I mean when initially it checks in Sys Object Source table it should not check with Resource ID instead need to check with Serial Number.

We have faced a similar issue.

You would either need to

1. Change the Robust Transformer Entity for Source Native Key to include the Serial number (not recommended)

2. Clean up the cache (sys_object_source) so that the RTE is forced to use the IRE (which uses a serial number lookup
