A scoped app that was certified and published into Service Now store fell behind the family releases of Service Now and hence withdrawn from the Store. I don't plan to make any code change and just want to resurrect the app from the backup. Its not very clear if I have to enter certification path or recertification path. Are credits required? How can I check if I have the credits?

although you don't want to make any code change or don't want to push new changes, you still need to re certify the app on new version.
You can directly submit the app from TPP portal in case you don't have to push any code change.
For credit check etc better to reach out to your company's ServiceNow account representative.

I would like a confirmation if credit is required for raising Recertification ?
At what point during Recertification does a dedicated Service Now expert (Integrator) get assigned for guidance.
