SGC Jamf Pro – Test Connection fails with 401 Unauthorized in Prod (same credentials & URL as Test)

Hi! We are implementing the Service Graph Connector for Jamf Pro and it works perfectly in our Test environment. Now we are setting it up in Prod, but we get the following error when we test the connection:

Test connection failed.
Reason: Unable to make a connection to JAMF API call. Please check your credential configuration. Check system log for more details. HTTP return status code was 401 Suggested solution: Unauthorized access. Make sure the credentials are correct.

Important details:

  • We only have one single Jamf Pro instance (no separate Test/Prod in Jamf)
  • We use exactly the same Jamf URL, Client ID and Client Secret in both Test and Prod, everything should match (also cheched in tables that it matches)
  • The API Client is enabled

Has anyone experienced the same when moving SGC Jamf from Test to Prod with a single Jamf instance? What else can cause a 401 only in Prod when literally everything else is identical?

Any help or steps we might have missed would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Erik
