Tanium created records has empty CI field values in hardware table, resulting that an asset record in hardware table does not have corresponding record in CMDB (Computer table)

Hi @Vallam Pushpend,

 An empty CI field on alm_hardware usually means the corresponding CI was not successfully identified or linked through the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).

• Verify a matching record exists in cmdb_ci_computer.

• Review IRE logs for identification/matching failures.

• Validate Tanium connector mappings and Transform Maps.

• Check Asset-CI synchronization processes.

The first thing I would verify is whether the device exists in cmdb_ci_computer.
If not, investigate the IRE and import logs to determine why the CI was not created or matched.
