Unable to discover Storage Server using SNMP

Hi All,

We are trying to setup the discovery for Storage Server using SNMP. Test connection is successful, however we are getting below error while running the discovery schedule.
Connection could not be established to https://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080 , Pattern name: EMC Isilon.

We got this confirmed that port 8080 is also accessible from the MID server.

Can someone please suggest further.

Thanks

@SNOWNavigator  Were you able to test the connection with the port 8080? Try that.

The pattern you mentioned is the right one, but is the discovery clearing the intial Shazzam and Classification? Can you paste your discovery log ? That would help to debug.

Thanks for your response.

Per my understanding snmp uses 161 port by default. When trying to test the connection using snmp credential using 8080 it is not authenticated.

Also, Discovery is clearing the initial Shazzam and classification activity however failing at identification. Attaching the discovery logs.

@SNOWNavigator  Yes, you are right. we can't use 8080 for SNMP credentials.

Found this page on Servicenow documentation, where there is information about the SNMP community credentials and verify the connections. Please check it out.

I’m not sure if this will be helpful, but could you try logging in to the mid server? Open a command prompt or terminal and execute a curl command to test a basic API endpoint, such as retrieving cluster details. Please check the response you receive.
