What OOB classes are used to track iSeries? My PDI doesn't have anything with iSeries in it.

We have an opportunity to rebuild our instance. As much as possible I'm trying to use the Out of Box tables. However - I have not been able to find anything with iSeries in the name. Since I'm not an expert on the iSeries technology, does anyone have insight into what CI class(es) should be used and for what purpose of iSeries (e.g. LPAR..)?

We are using cmdb_ci_lpar class to store this information.
You can see list of all available OOB CMDB classes below
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/quebec-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-management/reference/cmdb-tables-details.html
You can always extend OOB class to store your CI data.

Sachin

So iSeries has more than Lpar from what I understand. What other classes would be used to support that technology?

What devices are covered under iseries?
Answer depends on type of devices you are discovering.

Hi,
You can use cmdb_ci_mainframe table in my opinion.
