I'm attempting to configure CI Attestation, and the Attesting CIs (documentation) says "use the CMDB Data Manager to create an Attestation policy" But when I follow that documentation, there is no option for an Attestation Policy Type (below).

Hi Joe,
The picture above does not display for me, so if I missed anything my apologies. Can you try the following steps?
- Log into your instance with the appropriate role to get to Configuration > CMDB Data Manager (such as data_manager_user)
- Open CMDB Data Manager via Application Navigator
- Under Policies, click "View Policies." This should open the CMDB Data Manger and Attributes [ci_lifecycle_policy] table
- Click New in the upper right corner
- Under policy type, can you select Attestation?

When Data Manager Attestation policy is published, a scheduled job is created using the name of the policy. The scheduled job is responsible for creating the tasks. If you make any changes to the policy such as the scheduling options those changes will be synchronized with the scheduled job - you don't need to manually update the scheduled job.
Note that the scheduled job calls an API that will process the policy and create tasks.
