Hi Team, I hope you are able to help me. Business wants to track these additional VMs in CMDB. We already have Arista physical appliances and now they want to track virtual machine instance on these physical appliances. Currently, ITOM is not able to discover these Arista devices, these are created via a different datasource. These VMs are not in vCenter. Which out of box table should I use to track this VM data in? Currently, all vcenter virtual appliances are being discovered by ITOM in VM Virtual Machine Instance table.

Even though your Arista Virtual Machines are created using different data source, you can still use the VM Virtual Machine Instance table.
Your VM Virtual Machine Instance table will hold data from 2 different data sources that is still fine.
You can use the source field to identify from where it is discovered (vCenter or different data source).
Accept the solution and mark as helpful if it does, to benefit future readers.

Sumanth
