Business Application without Application Services - filtering out Retired

We are well on our way in our journey of the Crawl Phase. However we I need to understand how to filter out "Retired" Business Applications from needing to have an Application Services created or recognized by the CSDM Data Foundational Dashboard's "Business Application without Application Services" Performance Analytic.

I too have done a deep dive... the main Script Include, "CMDBGetWellBase", is what populates the tables.
After spending a considerable amount of time reviewing the code, it leads one to believe or conclude, SN did not want anyone to make updates.
Which follows their standard of, "make a copy and update the copy" so that when we push changes your code will not get overwritten. HOWEVER, whomever wrote that code should be ashamed b/c they did little to no documentation.
BUT I figured it out before, created a copy and made the updates however I didn't integrate the change at that time. I will be doing it now..

@Oneimus - facing the same challenge now. Can you kindly share how did you resolve the issue on retired CIs been included? There are several indicators of that dashboard that needs to be reworked.
