Hi community,

Help me out of this, I was learning about CSDM, In that process  I was unable to understand the Life cycle status ,Life cycle Migration, mapping life cycle status all these things,

can anyone explain , what it is actually, and how can I practice life cycle mapping in my PDI for practice purposes.

Thanks in advance.

@Durgaprasad Kan  I think you will find plenty to digest at the below docs location - and yes, you can practice in your PDI using the CMDB Demo data by following the steps described.  If you are searching in docs or in your platform be sure you look for "live cycle" and not "lifecycle" there is an older/legacy approach (without the space) which you do not want to waste time on.

My personal answer to "what it is" - We have a significant mess across all the different record types and States, stages, statuses, substates, hardware states, etc. so just like CSDM is an attempt to create a more unified vision we can move towards then build upon - so does the introduction of Life cycle stage and Live cycle stage status - it isn't needed yet except to use Data Manager but I expect we will see it used to unify the platform across processes.
