Hello Experts,
We are in the process of adopting the CSDM and would like to get your input on how these should be modeled to fit the CSDM. Listed below are some samples of the Business and the hierarchy of their systems.
From what I have gathered all the Software/Applications like Informatica, SSIS, Tableau, SAP, etc.. will be part of the Application Service table > SSIS Prod, SSIS Dev, SAP Dev, SAP Prod, SAP Staging, etc. Is this correct?
How about the other items, which tables do they map to? Thanks in advance for helping us out with the CSDM journey.

Hi @cassieb_ - Thanks for sharing the link. I did go through these examples before posting my question 🙂 However, I found it to be a little confusing, so decided to ask my question to the experts 🙂

Hi AJ
In Barry's response you mention layers. I think it would help if you yourself were to make a start and map the respective objects to a CSMD table, then we could go from there. Also please mention your motivation/focus i.e. what practices/processes should use these objects?
Use the canvas as reference: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-servicenow-platform/page/product/csdm-implementation/con...
The layers/objects you're listing could be objects from the Desingn domain (Focus on Architecture / Application Portfolio) or from the Sell/Consume domain (Focus Service Portfolio Management)
Thanks,
Tomas
