Is there any way to identify a Cloud Service as IAAS, PAAS, SAAS and what all attributes can be used to identify this?

IaaS, PaaS, SaaS are types of Cloud deployments which I would normally expect to be inherent to the Business Application itself, and does not represent a "version" of the application.  For example, ServiceNow as a business application is (arguably) PaaS because it is a services that provides an entire platform of applications.  You could call it SaaS or PaaS, which is somewhat subjective, but you wouldn't have one of each.  On the other hand you might (and often do) have multiple ServiceNow instances of different versions such as Rome, San Diego, Tokyo.  And those version names you probably would not want to include in the name of the service, as you would have to rename it every 6 months or so, which would be confusing to users.  There is a Version attribute on the Application Service for storing this configuration information.  The Business Application itself is versionless.
