how the employee's onboarding tasks will be completed in servicenow if we fully decommission Enhanced Onboarding in Workday

With Enhanced Onboarding turned off in Workday, you lose the automatic event-based onboarding process from Workday (e.g., Employee Hired triggers onboarding). To handle this:

 

Option 1: Basic Integration from Workday to ServiceNow
Use Workday Core Connector or Workday Studio to send the hire event to ServiceNow, such as:

Employee Pre-Hire or Hire event from Workday

A simple outbound integration that sends the required employee details to ServiceNow via an API or file feed

Trigger a new hire HR Case or Lifecycle Event in ServiceNow using a custom business rule or Flow Designer logic

 

Option 2: Manual HR Case Creation
If integrations are not feasible or minimal:

HR agents manually create an “Employee Onboarding” case or trigger the Employee Onboarding Lifecycle Event in ServiceNow

Use HR Services and COEs to manage and automate task assignments

Thanks Sandeep. This is helpful. Also I have doubt if we go ahead with integration with SNOW and workday for Global mobility transfers,  how often that integration runs in Workday to ensure no gaps in timing of Onboarding ?

Also please suggest how to address the international transfers as payrol chnages in guest country and how will it be integrated between workday and servicenow in terms of integration

can I have some diagram high level visual of global mobility transfer cases between Workday and servicenow or the FAQs?
