Parent field on Service offering table not showing application service- How to create availability record on an Application service?

Is there a way to associate a mapped application service (cmdb_ci_service_discovered) to an offering , so that availability records can be created showing commitment for those application service, like it does for a business service? The parent field on the offering form has a filter on Business service(cmdb_ci_service) , and somehow even after changing the table to cmdb_ci , it is not showing up  the application service records in the lookup list.

Hi,

I dont think Problem is with Parent field as on Service Offering this field just referencing to cmdb_ci_service table. And your both Business services and Application services table extends cmdb_ci_service table so you should be able to select application serivce

Hi Prasad, even i thought it should bring up the application service. But it does not. 

When i click on parent of service offering form, it shows the below link on the lookup list popup

And what i noticed is , due to one parameter addition, the application service stops showing up which is 'sysparm_view=sys_ref_list'.  

Also if i explicitly, try creating a new offering from inside the application service form, it shows below error

Yes you right I have just tested and its giving same error.

Let me check what else we can do
