Articles keep breaking formatting after editing in Knowledge Center

I am starting to use Knowledge Center to create and edit existing articles. However, the moment I click publish all the formatting, tools/features used in Knowledge Center (like text box, 2 column, 3 column, etc.) instantly breaks when the article enters the review queue. I have tried creating new articles from scratch and all the formatting I put into it using the Knowledge Center features breaks. The same when I edit the existing articles in Knowledge Center. Is there a reason for this? Do I not have a specific feature turned on that avoids this situation?
